This is a simple INIT to help with the annoying problem of a PowerBook being
unplugged by accident. When you unplug the PowerBook, Plug Alert will put up a message telling you that the charger has been taken out of the PowerBook. Also if the wall current is off, or the charger is unplugged from the wall, Plug Alert will notify you of this as well. This INIT is not likely to have any sort of conflict, it is VERY simple.
History:
• Plug Alert (original did not have a version number.): Made Pluge Alert detect when the charger plug was taken out of the PowerBook.
• Plug Alert v1.0.1 : Fixed the message that told the user when the PowerBook was unplugged, so it read correctly. Also added the feature which notifies the user when
the wall current is off, or when the charger has been unplugged from the wall.
Requirements:
• A Macintosh Portable or any PowerBook. This will load on any macintosh model,
however if you unplug non PowerBook Macintoshes, they just turn off! ( No need for Plug Alert in that case.)
• System 6.0.5 or greater.
Anyway just put it in your system or extensions folder, and reboot!
